Wellbeing Prescribing Platform

Culture is
the prescription.

Curaltura connects patients, clinicians and community providers through a shared digital infrastructure for social prescribing — delivering and measuring cultural, nature and community-based interventions at scale.

The need
1 billion people live with a mental health condition. Social prescribing is now policy in 30+ countries — yet no shared digital infrastructure exists to deliver it at scale.
The platform
A clinically governed, multilingual platform connecting referrers, participants and providers — with built-in validated outcome measurement across every intervention.
The evidence
Federated architecture: individual data stays home. Only anonymised aggregate results travel — enabling comparable outcomes across health systems for the first time.
Community wellbeing activity
What it does

A single platform.
Three referral pathways.

Curaltura enables clinicians, social workers and community organisations to prescribe, manage and measure participation in social, cultural and nature-based activities — all within one governed workflow.

Four internationally validated wellbeing instruments (WHO-5, SWEMWBS, UCLA Loneliness Scale, ONS4) are built into the platform — capturing outcome data at baseline, programme end and six-month follow-up with no additional burden on participants or referrers.

How it works

From referral
to evidenced outcome

The platform operates as a wellbeing-prescribing service — not a medical device. It is GDPR-compliant by design. Governance and clinical oversight are built into every step.

01
Refer
Participants are identified through primary care, social services or eligibility-gated self-referral. Baseline measurement is completed across all four validated instruments — approximately five minutes.
02
Prescribe
Matched to cultural, social and nature-based interventions in the local area. A ten-week supported programme is delivered through the platform, with clinical governance oversight throughout.
03
Evidence
Longitudinal outcome data is captured at programme end and six-month follow-up. Anonymised aggregate reporting is produced automatically — ready for board review and funder accountability.
"

Social prescribing is policy across 30+ countries. What has been missing is the infrastructure to make it work — and the data to prove that it does.
